Freestanding Fireplaces and Wood Stoves

A freestanding wood stove refers to a fireplace that is not mounted in or to a wall, heat is spread from all sides of the appliance and no heat is lost to surrounding masonry.

Freestanding stoves are fantastic when you don’t want to be restricted in where you place your fire. They can be classic, vintage or contemporary in design and come in outputs from 2kW to 16kW.

You have a choice of single, double, triple, four-sided or panaromaic for your fire view and a range of colours! Models are available in steel or cast iron, with some higher end brands combining both.

You won’t have to pay extra for renovations, and the fireplace can be installed quickly and simply. It’s also easily moved, with minimal post-repairs should you wish to change the place or take it with you when you move.

The flue installation is either straight up through the roof above the fireplace; straight up and out via the wall below ceiling height; or out the back of the fireplace and via the wall to outside, and this seldom takes more than half a day for a single-storey house when installed by one of our professional, in-house installation teams.

We have pellet-, anthracite-, multi-fuel- and wood-burning models, combination cookers, hydronic boiler stoves and models that connect to hot-air ducting.

Now you just need to decide! We can help you with that!
