Cooker stoves hark back to yesteryear and cosy farmhouse kitchens. Modern cook stoves are slightly updated and serve a dual purpose of heating and cooking. They are constructed to have a wood heating stove as well as a specially designed directed heat to a cooking surface area or oven. Some of the higher-end stoves have ovens, centrifugal fans and built-in thermometers for baking.
Our freestanding, wood-burning cooking range feature fireplaces with ovens and hot plates or a combination of both. Some of the range also come with the ability to heat water to feed radiators or geysers. Please note a specialist plumbing installation is required for the latter.
A flue installation is required and regular maintenance due to the additional moisture and fats with cooking.
