SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Obviously, you would like your order as soon as possible!
We ship many different items and from small and light to heavy and bulky!
We deliver to all the big cities in South Africa for orders of R 8,000.00 or more. Outlying areas, free-standing clay pizza ovens and braais are quoted separately.
Upon receiving your payment, we will carefully pack your order for transport. We ship after your payment has cleared and usually within three to four days of your order being placed. If an item is not in stock, we will advise you of this before delivery.
You will be notified by email of the waybill number, date of the expected delivery. We try our best to ensure that this is done at a time convenient to you. We rely on third party specialist freight and courier companies who are sometimes subject to unavoidable delays. It is important to ensure that the person who will be receiving the delivery can be reached on the contact number provided.
Our smaller orders are shipped by courier directly to you either from our showroom, our factory or our suppliers. In this instance there needs to be someone to receive the delivery, to check it and sign for it.
HEAVY AND BULKY Items
Many of our items weigh over 100 kg and will arrive carefully packed and sometimes crated. Deliveries of this nature are very different from standard courier deliveries so please read below our information on our delivery procedure. If you need further information, please contact our office.
If your order weighs more than 70 kg, you will need to have extra hands available to help with offloading, as this must unfortunately be done by hand. (A reasonable amount to expect a driver and assistant to lift works out to about 30–35 kg per person.)
In principle, delivery is to the entrance of your property (the gate or driveway) and the driver and assistant are not obligated to take the goods into your house or garage. Our drivers and assistants will help you as best they can, but it is important to have extra help available.
Inspect the outer packaging and, if it is the original packaging and is undamaged, sign the waybill and keep a copy for your records.
If the outer packaging shows visible damage, please open the packaging to inspect for damage or missing items in the presence of the driver.
Always open the packaging in such a manner that it can be reused in the event of a return.
If there is any damage, please take pictures or the packaging, the vehicle, the waybill and the goods. Report it to us within two hours of delivery, either by WhatsApp 083 653 7393 or by email to [email protected]
Please make a note of the damage or anything else of importance on the delivery note that you sign, and always keep a copy. We recommend that you take a photograph.
IMPORTANT: Damage reported once the driver has left and the waybill has been signed is not covered by our insurance and may not be eligible for a refund.
